Salary Pay Scale
  • Junior Assistant (Accounts) : Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade pay of Rs. 2000/-, Pay level 3 of 7th CPC PB- 1.
  • Technical Assistant : Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade Pay Rs.4200/- , Pay Level 6 of 7th CPC PB-2.
Age Limit
  • The age limit to apply for the Junior Assistant role is 27 Years.
  • The maximum age limit for each post shall be as per Recruitment Rule-2019. Those employees who are presently working on an ad-hoc/ temporary/ contractual/ outsource basis in NIT Patna will be given one-time age relaxation equivalent to the number of years served at NIT Patna with the upper age limit of up to 56 years.

Relaxation in upper age for reserved category will be as per reservation rules of Govt.
Educational Qualification
  • Junior Assistant (Accounts) : Senior secondary (I0+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
  • Technical Assistant : B.E/ B.Tech.
Selection Process

Screening test, trade test / skill test, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and descriptive / short answer test.
Application Fee
  • UR/ EWS/ OBC (NCL) Candidates : Rs. 400/-
  • SC/ ST Candidates : Rs. 200/-
  • PH Candidates : Nil.
